Hyatt Place Richmond - Innsbrook, Short Pump

The hotel rooms were nice but had some issues with the AC and small amenities; however, they were large and comfortable with amazing beds. The service was friendly and helpful, although not entirely customer service oriented. The location was excellent, especially for those wanting easy access to dining and shopping options. The dining experience was good with a nice selection, although not very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory with some room for improvement.

The hotel's rooms could be a bit more spacious but lacked proper heating and cleanliness upon arrival. On the positive side, the service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Despite some chaotic moments and security concerns, the location in Glen Allen was great for our activities.

Upon arrival at 4 pm, our room with a separate sofa/sitting area in the hotel, although nice, had a foul scent. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, offering great dinner recommendations, though they didn't follow up on a service order. The location in the Short Pump area of Richmond was prime, with easy access to the expressway and a convenient hotel shuttle service. The dining experience, while above average with different eggs, could improve in providing hot breakfast food. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for enhancement.
